What is InfluEarn?
InfluEarn is a paid survey company that pays people for doing surveys for them.
According to the official website, “Headquartered in New York, InfluEarn.com is a subsidiary brand of InfluEarn, LLC. a leading Internet and media company that operates multiple customer engagement brands.”
They claimed to have already paid out 102 million to their 372,000 members with only 2 years of being in the business.
However, when I Google ‘who is the founder of InfluEarn’, there is still no information.
On the website, they put the following as their HQ address. But when I search for it on Google Maps, it shows to be a church instead of a multi-million company.
InfluEarn has a higher pay rate than the other major survey sites like Survey Junkie and SwayBucks.
In fact, InfluEarn even pays you $25 for a sign up bonus. After reviewing many paid survey sites, I have rarely seen a legit survey company pay so much for sign up bonus.
According to WHOIS, a website tracking software, the official website influearn.com was created on May of 2019.
How to Make Money with InfluEarn?
There are two ways to make money with InfluEarn. Although it is paid survey site, you can also earn a referral bonus from it.
1. Complete Tasks
It is not only about doing surveys, you can also make money by testing app, filling up questionnaires and writing reviews for music.
But most of the tasks are going to be completing surveys. InfluEarn said it is not uncommon to earn $30 for a completed task.
2. Referral bonus
As mentioned above, you can earn $20 for every friend you refer to join InfluEarn.
For the money you earn inside this company, they claimed to let you withdraw the money through PayPal, BitCoin, or mailed checks.
How to Join InfluEarn?
In order to join InfluEarn, you first need to sign up for an account. The process is pretty easy. You only need to insert your full name, username, email and password.
Upon sign up, you will receive $25 for a sign up bonus.
After that, you need to be brought to the member area where you can start doing tasks.
How Does InfluEarn Really Works?
Now, it gets to the ugly truth. On the surface, it seems like a really good opportunity to make money.
You can earn $20 just by asking a friend to join. Isn’t it a little too easy?
Turns out InfluEarn is no different than many fake survey sites I have reviewed before such as Eazy Dollars, CashLoad, SwayPay and Paid 4 Clout.
Why are these survey sites letting people to join for free?
In fact, they can earn money from the survey you did and from your personal information.
Remember you gave them your name and email address when registering for an account. These survey companies can sell the data to marketing firm for a good profit.
Other than that, after you have completed the tasks, you can resell the surveys you have completed to other real survey companies.
And yet don’t pay you for the surveys you have done. This is very common for these scam survey companies.
There are far too many complaints about not getting paid by these companies.
The worst thing is that they have a minimum threshold for you to withdraw the money.
So people spend a lot of time to do many surveys in order to accumulate a certain amount let said $100.
Only to find out they have no way to withdraw the money. And no surprise the customer service is not going to respond as well.
What Do I like about InfluEarn?
1. Free to Join
The only good thing is that you won’t lose any money by joining InfluEarn. But the opportunity cost is real.
The time you wasted here can be invested in another good business.
That’s why I spent time into reviewing this fake survey site. So that this blog can help somebody to save their time.
What Don’t I like about InfluEarn?
1. Bad Company Transparency
A legit company will never hide their identity and let alone fake their company address.
There are too many shady things about this company. The founder, the company address, the fake testimonials, the fake income report and so on.
Generally these are big red flags that indicate a bad company.
2. Too Many Complaints
There are too many people got scammed and shared their experience online.
Whenever you try to withdraw the money, the system will state that you have committed fraud and violated the company policy.
Your account will be suspended. This is very unacceptable and sadly there is nobody you can ask for compensation. So please be careful.
3. Fake Testimonials
If you do a reverse image search on Google, you can find that they use stock photos to pretend to be their users.
There’s no way for a website that was just created 2 months ago to have accumulated over 300k members. Even Facebook can’t do that.
4. Bad Time Investment
I usually don’t recommend people to do paid survey even for companies like survey junkie.
Because the money you can is on average $0.5-$3 per survey and it could take 15 minutes per survey.
So you are making $12 per hour. That’s terrible pay rate. I would recommend you to look for other ways to make money online as there are far better options.
But at the same time please be careful because there are also a lot of scammers online. A good rule of thumb is to avoid get-rich-quick scheme.
Is InfluEarn A Scam?
