FunHamper Review Summary

Product Name: FunHamper

Product Type: Entertainment Subscription

Price: $39.95 per month

Rating: 2/10

What is FunHamper?

Funhamper is a website that claimed to provide a wide variety of entertainment for a $39.95 monthly fee.

You will have access to over 3000 movies, 30 000 songs, 500 books and 1000 games on their website.

But the question is, is it worth the money?

There are so many alternatives like Netflix and Hulu out there. I wonder how does Funhamper stand out.

After spending some time researching about Funhamper, it seems like there is no information about who created this website.

The only thing that’s disclosed is that it is registered under the company name “Auxerrois s.r.o.” which is located at Senovazne namesti 978/23, Praha 1, 110 00, Czech Republic.

I ran a Google search on that address and turns up that it is actually a hair salon.

Okay, maybe there’s some typos in the address and let’s continue to dig deeper into Funhamper.

According to WHOIS(a website tracker), Funhamper’s official website was created in October 2012.

How Does FunHamper Really Work?

In order to join Funhamper, you need to put in your full name, address, phone number and credit card number.

But I don’t think it’s a good idea to give them your credit card number.

Look at what people said in the forums.

Somebody got charged even without putting in their credit card information. In fact, they don’t even know what is Funhamper.

It was an unauthorised charged!

They claimed that you can cancel the membership at anytime and you will still have access until the end of the applicable monthly billing period.

But I would not give them my credit card information to be honest.

There are a lot of people leaving comments on different forums. None of them have even watched any kind of entertainment inside Funhamper.

Many of them have to call their bank to freeze the card and get a new one.

I don’t think anybody would want that kind of hustle.

What Do I Like About FunHamper?

Seriously, I don’t like anything about Funhamper.

I think you need to stay away from it. There are tons of better alternatives out there.

There’s no need to risk your money with an unknown website.

What Don’t I Like About FunHamper?

1. Too Many Complaints

I have searched online for hours and yet couldn’t find a single person saying that they enjoy the services.

There are too many scammers out there. You need to be diligent at all times. I would recommend you to buy this service regardless if it is scam or not.

2. Hidden Founder

The fact that the creator of this website doesn’t want to reveal him/herself already kind of signals a red flag.

Those people who got charged without authorization tried contacting this company but there is no response at all.

3. No Mobile App

Yes, if you are using your phone and you want to listen to some songs. You need to open up a browse and use the website instead of an app.

4. Not responsible if website down

They even tell you upfront the website will be down from time to time due to maintenance.

I mean if you are charging $40 per month, you should not have these problems at all. I have never seen Spotify or Netflix claiming that they will be down or it is not their fault at all.

Is FunHamper A Scam?

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to join Funhamper. Let alone the sketchiness of this website.

Let’s say it is a totally legitimate website. For a price $39.95, I don’t think it is quite worth it.

Netflix charges only $12.99 per month and Spotify charges even less. Combining Netflix and Spotify, you get access to a huge variety of music, movies, podcasts and so many more and it’s less than $39.95 for sure.
