CashOG Review Summary
Product Name: CashOG
Product Type: GPT Site
Price: Free to Join
What is CashOG?
CashOG is a GPT(get paid to) website that will pay you for doing certain tasks. In this case, you will be paid to test products.
There are companies which send out their products for people to try using it because they want to make sure the product is useful to the market before launching.
Thus, CashOG connects people like us with those big firms to do product testing and it will benefit all parties.
According to WHOIS, CashOG’s official website was created on July 2019 which is not too long ago.
However, I couldn’t find who is the founder of this website. This is generally a bad sign for an online program to show who is behind it.
But it is not enough to come to a conclusion yet. So let’s proceed to how does it actually work.
How Does CashOG Work?
On the website, you can see the 3 simple steps to make money with CashOG.
1. Join CashOG
2. Share & Earn $10
3. Get Paid!
They claimed to pay $10 for every referral which is quite a good rate for a lot of GPT sites.
Other than making money with referral, you can also make money by completing tasks in the member area.
After signing up for an account, you will be given access to the member area and inside it, you will see a task wall where you can pick up a task and complete it to get money.
CashOG uses PayPal, CashApp, Bitcoin or mailed check to pay their members. However there is usually a minimum payout threshold in these GPT site.
For example, you will need to accumulate $100 in your account before you can withdraw the money.
I am sure there is a minimum payout system within CashOG but not totally sure about the minimum amount.
Ugly Truth Revealed!
I am really curious how does the company sustain such a high pay rate. They are not only paying for the referral bonus, the bonus for each completed task is fairly high as well.
Therefore, I look further into the reviews coming from multiple sites online. I find out that there are some people complaining about not getting their payout even though they have exceeded the minimum payout threshold.
Some of them don’t even get a response from the customer service. This is absolutely not acceptable for a company to ignore their customers and not helping them to fix the issue.
So people have wasted their time and effort testing many products for CashOG and ended up getting nothing in return.
And for those who invite a lot of friends and family into CashOG could not get their referral bonus as well.
That’s why I don’t recommend anyone to join CashOG.
What Do I like about CashOG?
1. Legit Business Model
It is undeniable that CashOG increase the awareness of GPT site to more people. Some might not know that it is possible to make money online by doing product testing or filling up surveys.
There are indeed a lot of legitimate companies out there who offer paid survey opportunities. You just need to go explore and read reviews before joining one.
What Don’t I like about CashOG?
There are lies everywhere in this website. They claimed to have already paid out $44 Million to over 300,000 members. But we know the website was only created on July 2019.
How is it possible to have this massive number of members within such short period of time.
Clearly, it is an extravagant claim to lure people into joining the program.
2. Hidden Information
I don’t get why a company that size would want to hide their information. We don’t know who is the founder, when was the company founded, and there is no ‘About Us’ page on the website that introduces the company.
3. Fake Testimonial
As you can see below, they hire freelancer from Fiverr.com to record the testimonials for them.
4. Waste of Time
I personally don’t like doing paid survey because the money you can earn is so limited and it is a waste of time.
I have done more than 100 reviews of these systems. Each survey will generally earn you from $0.5 to $3 and it will take at least 15 minutes to complete a task.
Let alone some tasks require you to pay upfront to download an app and later pay you back.
You are also limited by the number of surveys you can do in a day. I would rather to build up a website and do affiliate marketing because it has no limit to how much I can earn in a day.
For example, I get visitors coming to my website all day long and I make a profit whenever they buy something from my website.
Thus, I don’t like wasting time in GPT sites.
Is CashOG A Scam?
I think it is pretty obvious at this point to answer this question. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to join CashOG.
If you are really into GPT and want some quick money, I would suggest some alternatives like Oneopinion and Survey Junkie.
But some of them are only available for US residents. So please check for yourself before wasting any time to register for an account.
If you are looking for a way to make more money each month, I would suggest affiliate marketing because it is how I sustain this blog.
Please feel free to check the bottom section where I document my online journey of how to make money online. Hopefully this review will help somebody out there.
